Guise is a 64-bit Windows app. There is no macOS version, and none is planned — so if you are on a Mac, this will not run for you.

The tracking reads your face, so a camera is the one hard requirement.

You run Guise alongside OBS or Streamlabs. Download the installer and run it — no Python, no command line, nothing to configure.

What is Guise, and do I need it?
Guise is the app that does the face tracking and draws the avatar. You need it to use any avatar from this page, and it is free — you only pay for the avatars themselves. Grab it from Get the app above.
Does it work on a Mac?
No. Guise is Windows only — a 64-bit installer — and a macOS version is not planned. Please don't buy an avatar expecting it to run on a Mac.
Is the app really free?
Yes. There is no trial, no subscription and no watermark. The app is free forever; avatars are the paid part.
How do I update to a newer version of Guise?
Download it again from the same link — the download page always serves the newest build, so you never have to hunt for a version number. Installing over the top keeps your calibration.
Windows says "unrecognised publisher" — is that a problem?
No. It means the installer is not code-signed yet, which is a certificate we have not bought rather than anything wrong with the file. Choose More info → Run anyway. The download is a 64-bit Windows installer.
Is this a VTuber model I need to rig?
No. There's no rigging, no Live2D and no bones. The art is already done — calibration is the only setup, and it takes about a minute.
Will it work if my camera is off to one side?
Yes. Calibration records whatever resting angle it finds and measures your expressions from there, so a camera mounted high, low or off-centre is fine. Expressions read reliably within about 20° of the position you calibrated at, and the overlay tells you on screen if you drift outside it.
Does it need internet?
Only to download it. After that it runs fully offline — no account, no cloud service, and your camera feed never leaves your computer.
Can I use it on a monetized stream?
Yes. You can stream and record commercially with the character as your on-screen avatar. You just can't resell or redistribute the files themselves.
What if the expressions don't trigger properly?
Recalibrate — it's one keystroke, and the preview screen shows each expression ticking off as it fires so you can see exactly which one needs work. Most of the time it's the camera angle rather than the calibration.
